Studying at a hilly campus in CUHK, everyone is longing for different possibilities and prospects about university lives. For students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), a barrier-free campus that enables us to utilise various resources is of utmost importance.
*The SEN Service of Office of Student Affairs has launched the “Turn Imagination to Everyday Life” Barrier-free Campus Design Competition last year to call for innovative ideas to support students with SEN on dining experiences, leisure and social life, on-campus transportation and study and learning.
Entries were received from students of different Faculties. Based on the professional assessment by the Panel of Judges, a total of 8 teams were shortlisted for the final round. Their products and ideas will be showcased on the Model Presentation Day. You are cordially invited to come and see their products and vote for the two special awards. Let’s explore more potentials on barrier-free!
The Deaf Cafeteria will also set up a sign language café there. Join to learn simple sign language and grab a hand-made coffee~
(One drink per person, while supplies last. Note: No food/ drink is allowed in the venue due to pandemic preventative measures. Please take the drink home.)
